Causes of rashes in kids

Viruses that Cause Rashes
- Chickenpox
- Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD)
- Measles
- Roseola infantum
These viruses are all contagious and the rashes caused by them have different characteristics.
Allergy-Related Rashes
- Hives
- Blotchy skin or swelling on face, lips or eyes
Other Causes of Rashes
- Skin conditions such as eczema or ringworm
