Signs and symptoms of gastroenteritis
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea (runny stools)
- Stomach pain
- Refusing to eat or drink (with other symptoms)
Signs and symptoms of Dehydration
- Drowsy
- Dry mouth
- Eyes look sunken or dark circles around eyes
- Less urine (wee) produced – 12 hours without weeing
- In babies and young children – less than half the usual wet nappies
- Dark coloured urine (wee)
