Triggers, signs and symptoms
Signs and symptoms that your child may be suffering from a viral infection include:
- Your child has a temperature of 38˚C or higher
- Your child may have loss of appetite
- They may have a runny or blocked nose, or a cough
- They may be tired, irritable or crying
- They may be complaining of a headache, muscle pain or sore throat
- They may have a rash
